The 3rd annual REMAX Coast & Country Charity Classic for Katelyn’s Cause will be August 25 & 26, 2023 at Salmon Run Golf Course, Brookings, Oregon.
This annual event will be a competitive golf tournament, drawing avid golfers from throughout the region, and a fundraiser. Katelyn’s Cause is an established and recognized 501 (c)(3) which raises money to purchase gifts that are hand-delivered each December to children with cancer receiving treatment at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, Oregon. Contributions to Katelyn’s Cause also enable gifts to be distributed over the entire year to patients battling cancer, sometimes even delivered the day the child is diagnosed.
Over the past decade, Katelyn’s Cause has raised more than $300,000 with 100% of proceeds going towards gifts for children and support for families. The foundation was established to fulfill a “wish” of Katelyn Wallace who succumbed to synovial sarcoma in 2008 at the age of 17. Katelyn’s wish was to start a program that provided nonessential medical care to patients; just something to bring a smile to their faces. WITH YOUR HELP AND SUPPORT this worthwhile effort will continue.
The two-day golf tournament begins on Friday, August 25th, with a practice round and evening festivities at Fat Irish Kitchen & Pub. Saturday, August 26th, is a two-person best-ball competition followed by dinner, awards, a fundraising raffle, and a live band.

iii. Recognition at Awards Presentation
b. HOLE SPONSOR - $350 (only 18 available)
i. Bring your promotional material/signage and/or banners and decorate a
hole (tee to green). Contact us for more details on how to incorporate
your business on the course.
c. GIFT BAG SPONSOR - $350 (only 2 available)
i. Create a Gift Bag for each participant (est. between 80-100 golfers)
promoting your business.
2. Donation
A second way to give & support the event is by donating an item of value that will be raffled after the tournament. These items can range from services, gift certificates, gift baskets, vacation packages, golf related items, etc. As a donor, you will receive public recognition at the display area and while your donation is being auctioned or raffled.
